NTP World Forum Chooses FingerTec
Since NTP World Forum's inception in 1998, the founder, Mr. Ng Thien Phing, a prolific visionary, has grown a single company into its current force of more than 15 companies today. The Group has four core business areas where it has been operating successfully for over a decade now.

NTP World Group of companies approached ICT Zone Sdn. Bhd., a FingerTec authorized reseller to install a time attendance and access control system in their company premises. The challenge in performing the installation was that the company’s office was spread among several buildings in Excella Building Park in Kuala Lumpur, and the client required that the attendance be controlled and monitored by the Human Resources Department in their headquarters.

The requirements from our client was noted in detail and brought back for an internal discussion, after which we proposed the installation of FingerTec R2 in the multiple premises, as it is able to accept both card and fingerprint verification from a user. 14 units of R2 was installed within the offices of NTP and connected using the TCP/IP Protocol available in the model. Remote branches were easily linked and controlled by using VPN or USB pen drive management, while the TCMS V2 viewer would allow head of departments to view their own staff’s attendance records without having to contact and trouble the HR department.

In the future, we hope to introduce the FingerTec Data Processor (FTDP) to NTP’s IT Department so that they are able to manage access control authorities without the risk modification data by other personnel on the TCMS.

FingerTec, the Preferred Attendance System in Saudi Aramco
Saudi Aramco is Saudi Arabia’s national oil company and a a fully integrated, global petroleum enterprise and a world leader in exploration, production, refining, distribution, shipping and marketing, at that.

Recently, the company contacted ITQAN International with the purpose of sourcing for an attendance and access control system for one of their divisions. “We saw a lot of potential in this company as this is a company that handles the world’s largest crude oil reserves with global headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, North America, Europe and the Far East,” commented Eng. Mohammed N. Ewidah, the Project Manager of ITQAN International, “And this could be a great introduction for us at ITQAN International, one of FingerTec’s larger resellers in the region of Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia,” he added.

The site that ITQAN performed the installation for was at the Aramco IT Help Desk. “The client needed an access solution along with time attendance features to be installed in the area, to replace their previous system that had problems extracting and converting data. Accordingly, we recommended and installed FingerTec Kadex & i-Kadex through our main contractor called CTE,” explained Eng. Mohammed.

Kadex and i-Kadex combo is the most sought-after RFID card system from FingerTec for customers prefer the simplicity of the design plus it is economical for access IN/OUT solution. The system can also be seamlessly integrated with any fingerprint machines from FingerTec, if there is any requirements in the future. The client was impressed with the performance of FingerTec’s complimentary software, the TCMS V2, plus the software is capable of a lot more than these functions and should be suitable in the long run for a company like Saudi Aramco.

“We hope that with this initial installation at the IT Division of the company, Saudi Aramco will notice FingerTec products’ capability and will continue to expand the system in other divisions,” continued Eng Mohammed.

ITQAN International is pleased with the recent release of TimeTec, the web-based attendance solution for FingerTec terminals should be more than able to handle data logs from Aramco’s overseas headquarters as well.

Peruvian Companies Fitted with FingerTec's Attendance System
Pharma Quality EIRL is a Peruvian company located in Breña, Lima, dedicated to the exclusive representation, importation, storage, marketing, distribution and sale of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

The company approached our esteemed FingerTec representative in Peru, Bioequipamientos, for their expertise on a biometric time and attendance system to be installed at their headquarters. They were in great need for a system that could allow them to monitor their staff’s attendance.

At the initial meeting with the client, Bioequipamientos showcased FingerTec’s array of time attendance terminals, as well as access control terminals. To their surprise, the client changed their decision and picked the i-Kiosk 100 Plus for their company instead, after noticing the extra features on the terminal such as the touch screen and the function keys, which, they realized, could make the terminal management in their office even simpler. Although they did not yet install any door-locking mechanisms, Pharma Quality EIRL’s choice leaves them open to the option in the near future.

Another company in San Isidro, Lima, was Travex, whom had also approached Bioequipamientos looking for an access control system. Travex is a leading Peruvian travel agency in the service industry for both incoming tourism and foreign tourism. At the planning stage, Travex went along with Bioequipamientos suggestions, and as a result, FingerTec R2 & R2i time attendance and access control system has been installed in 5 departments of a total 2 floors of the Travex building.

After a couple of weeks since the implementation, Bioequipamientos went back to these Companies to check on the system. According to their report, Quality Pharma and Travex has not had any major technical issues with the FingerTec units installed an the clients expressed satisfaction at the quality of the products as well as the user-friendliness of the products.

Jordan Schools and Factories Installed with FingerTec
In the past month, Euro Jordan, FingerTec’s successful reseller in Jordan, managed to close a couple of deals and install FingerTec in several well-known buildings around the country.

The month began with an installation of FingerTec AC100C in a local girls school called the Rosary Sisters School. The school has a total of 4 branches all over Jordan, but the first installation took place in the Marj Elhamam branch as a trial run. Not long after, the other branches followed suit with installations of several other FingerTec time attendance models. Each branch has its own independent administrative management, which eliminated the need of the branches to link up their systems. The following units were installed in the 4 branches of the schools:

1 unit of TA102 at the Mesdar branch
4 units of AC100 plus at the Marj ElHamam branch
4 units of AC100 plus at the Shmeisani branch
3 units of TA100C at the Jabal Amman branch

With the completion of the school installation, Euro Jordan then received another request for biometrics for the company called Ronesca. Ronesca is a French company that specializes in nutritional feeding products for infants and expecting mothers, and has headquarters located in Jordan, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

The branch in Jordan contacted us as they required an access control system complete with an automated door. Euro Jordan took this opportunity to suggest FingerTec’s quick-selling access control model, the Q2i, along with a GEZE automatic door supplied by Euro Jordan. One of the important requirements for Ronesca is the ability for the hardware to connect to their payroll and HR system, and because of this, the FingerTec reseller conducted a training session, The R2 unit at Ronesca teaching the relevant staff how to connect, manage and integrate the system with a third party software using the SDK.

Both the clients were satisfied with their system especially when it came to managing the terminals via the TCMS V2 software. With the current installations in place, hopefully word about FingerTec can be spread more rapidly to bring forward the brand as a leading one in the Jordanian market.

FingerTec Making a Difference in Selangor Local Council
FingerTec in Malaysia has replaced the whole attendance system at the local Council of Ampang Jaya, a district not too far from the capital of Kuala Lumpur.

The Ampang Jaya council is responsible for the development and maintenance of their district which contains a population of around 574,300. The council, also referred to as MPAJ (Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya) was using a fingerprint device as their current attendance and access control system, which also happened to be a local brand. However, the machine was giving problem whereby quite a number of its users weren’t able to verify their attendance with the device, and the customer support was poor.

This is when FingerTec’s local reseller, Fazgates Services Sdn. Bhd. was contacted and requested to replace the entire system that was placed in the Management Office and the HR/Admin Dept.

Due to the product’s reliability, user-friendliness, reasonable price and consistent customer support Fazgates Services suggested the FingerTec R2 unit to replace their current system in the office. The 9 units of R2 installed in the management office will be supporting around 700 staff of the MPAJ in total, with more units of R2 still pending installation at the office.

“FingerTec systems are easy to use and very efficient, especially because they come with the TCMS V2 software that makes the management of the devices a simpler and quicker process” mentioned Mr. Hafiz Faizal, Sales Manager of Fazgates Services Sdn. Bhd.

Export Payroll Data Easily With FingerTec USA PIT!
“Even if you start out on the right track you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” Bearing this in mind, FingerTec is continuously taking great strides in advancing there product line, technical support, and customer satisfaction to ensure that they remain a superior brand in the biometrics security and time attendance market.

With their purchase of TA103C, American Telecommunications Inc. cut their payroll process to a fraction of the effort. Their long hours of collecting manual time sheets from 25 plus locations and tracking work hours were cut to a minimum with the powerful and automated FingerTec TCMSv2 Software; however, manually entering employees’ wages for a labor force of close to 200, still remained tedious work. If only they could figure out a simpler way of exporting their employees’ accumulated hours for the pay period to their payroll provider. Wishful thinking? Well, with FingerTec USA Payroll Integration Tool, PIT, this wishful thinking turned into a reality.

Gone are the days when the payroll department had to spend endless hours, manually entering work hours for all employees. No longer do the secretaries need to waste their time and concentration on sending all data to their payroll providers. Processing all payroll information has never been this easy. By using FingerTec USA’s Payroll Integration Tool, all data can now automatically be exported to most United States and Canadian payroll providers such as Intuit QuickBooks, Paychex, ADP, BDB, Ceridian and many more, with just a few clicks of the mouse. Thanks to this breakthrough in time attendance, FingerTec can once again boast their slogan, “We Make Things Easy.”

FingerTec Installed in Jordan’s Multinational Companies!
Euro Jordan, FingerTec’s exclusive distributor in Jordan, is proud to announce its 2 completed projects in well-known multinational companies here in Jordan.

In the first project, Euro Jordan Trading Company worked with our partner, Smart line Group, to complete an installation of FingerTec TA100C and 14 units of m-Kadex & 2 units of i-kadex in Samsung’s Levant Building. The installations of the m-Kadex and i-Kadex was a complete door access control installation, inclusive of electromagnetic locks, emergency breakglasses, and the usual access control package.

Now Samsung will be able to monitor the attendance of all the staff by just downloading the transactions stored in the TA100C to the TCMS V2 software. The company can also start to implement a stricter access to high authority areas, as these areas would require you to have an access card to access restricted areas. The Samsung corporation was also interested to monitor employees in the common smoking areas, hence fitting in two installations of the m-Kadex with i-Kadex at two different areas that are used by smokers.

The plan for the final stage of the installation is to connect FingerTec Kadex in the elevators of the building, with a controller that restricts access to certain floors.

Our second recent project was the well-known Swedish furniture company, Ikea, which has recently opened a small office in Amman. Yet to have officially launched, they are planning to open a huge branch nearby their office location later on, once the plans are finalized. However, for now, they needed an access control system to secure their main office entrance.

For that, Ikea has chosen FingerTec’s AC900 to be installed at the main door of their office. Being the headquarters of the upcoming Ikea branch in Jordan, they are planning to connect the TCMS V2 software to the HR and payroll system to automate and simplify their effort in the HR department. We will be continuously supporting Ikea until they open and launch their store and we hope to also install FingerTec’s time attendance system to monitor the working hours of the staff in the store.

These two installations have definitely elevated our company’s profile and the FingerTec brand with such strong installation references, demonstrating the flexibility of Euro Jordan’s team being able to accommodate to a corporate atmosphere, or a store-like atmosphere.

Malaysian Bread Company Factory Employs FingerTec
FingerTec in Malaysia is pleased to announce a successful installation made in M & M Consolidated Resources Sdn. Bhd., which is the main supplier of the well-known Loaf bakery outlets in Malaysia.

The Loaf, is a chain of bakery’s around Malaysia that employ a traditional Japanese style of baking in their store. Bhd. is the company’s factory /supplier and has also become a name associated to The Loaf.

The factory, looking for a time attendance and door access control system to monitor and restrict attendance of their staff approached Ions System Sdn. Bhd., a FingerTec Reseller in the area, to install a system to them. They previously had experience using FingerTec products, and hence requested that they use the brand again, as they were familiar with the system and were at ease with the user-friendliness.

FingerTec models R2 & R2i as well as AC900 were then installed in the main area of the factory as well as the Production Department Office for which access control were used as not everybody is allowed in the office. When doing their regular follow up with the factory, Ions System Sdn. Bhd. found that the administrators were effortlessly managing the terminals without any difficulties, with the help of the product manual that is included in a CD for the terminals.

“FingerTec so far has been our preferred brand of biometrics as the brand ensures that it’s reseller’s get as much support as they can. Our sales representative with FingerTec is also very helpful in catering to our needs,” mentioned Mr. Ken Chee, Marketing Manager of Ions System Sdn. Bhd.

Children in Kuwait Autism Centred Now Secured with FingerTec
Kuwait Autism Centre (KAC) was founded in the year of 1994, and was the first Autism Training and Educational Center in the Arab World, and had the purpose of responding to the needs of many families as a specialized center for serving autistic children. Recently, this very center approached Subway IT Co., the leading FingerTec distributor in Kuwait, to install an access control system for them.

Dealing with children with Autism is a challenge enough, without having to worry about security issues and dealing with staff tardiness. Due to the increased demand for a higher security level within the premises, the client needed a more secure and effective system for access control and tighter security, all implemented in a simple and cost effective system.

To curtail to the client’s requirements, Subway IT Co. and KAC came to an agreement to install FingerTec m-Kadex & i-Kadex due to its compact sizing, its simple use, and its cost-effectiveness. The system was connected to electromagnetic locks located on the doors to restrict access to only authorized personnel. Also, the areas in the KAC that contained the computer servers and access to security controls were also secured with the m-Kadex and i-Kadex, as only IT staff and higher ranking managers could access these rooms.

Rich Media Company Goes All FingerTec in Dubai
First Video Communication (FVC) is a leading provider of solutions for Rich Media as well as Networking and Security Solutions in the Middle East and North Africa. The name FVC is synonymous with world class solutions including Polycom Video Conferencing, Audio Conferencing, as well as leading brands in Video Streaming, Network Security, Application Traffic Management, and emerging 3G Technologies.

FVC, located in what is called the Dubai Internet City, operate from multiple floors in a single office building. They had been using the traditional punch card system all this while, and thus approached Magnum Connect and Seven Seas Computers LLC for a more dynamic solution, with all their different offices centralized and able to be accessed under a single network.;

That is where Seven Seas Computers LLC projected themselves as a value added reseller and solution provider. With the assistance of Magnum Connect, Seven Seas were able to seal the deal with a lot more service options to offer than our competitors.

FVC was looking at securing all their office entrance (5 entrances) within the same building with Time Attendance and Access Control as their basic requirement, as well as securing few of their internal offices such as Server Room, Demo LAB, Finance Dept and the Directors cabins which are only given access to a restricted number of employees. They also requested for all the generated reports to be centrally accessed. SSC proposed them a solution with different models of FingerTec and as a result, 13 units of FingerTec machines, ranging from AC900 to R2 stand strong at the entrances and restricted zones of FVC.

The client turned out to be rather impressed and satisfied with the functionality of the units, and eventually, we also won an extended service contract for all the installed FingerTec Machines. Currently SSC has become their prime supplier for lot of other related products and solutions.

FingerTec AC100C Installed at CV Trio Hutama!
CV Trio Hutama is a member of the TRIO Group in Magelang City in Central Java, Indonesia. Before using fingerprint as method of attendance verification, they were merely getting their employee’s signature to record their employees attendance. Using this manual method of attendance monitoring left the company open to many cases of false attendance reporting, and a relentless amount of tardiness on the staff’s behalf. As their sister company, Trio Plaza has been using FingerTec’s TA 100 series as the time attendance for the past 4 years without any errors or complaints, the senior management of Trio Group then approached Mitra Medika CV to install a FingerTec system for Trio Hutama as well.

The Human Resource department of CV Trio Hutama faced a lot of problems in effectively monitoring their staff’s attendance before. Their requirements were simple; a system that could hold around 100 of their employees’ information, one that could record down the attendance accurately, and at the end of the day, be able to generate some useful reports for analyzing by the HR Department.

As the AC 100 Series is one of the most simple time attendance systems around, we installed this particular model within CV Trio Hutama office area. Each person registered two fingerprints, as recommended by FingerTec. The client has expressed their satisfaction with the product as now, they do not face the problem of buddy punching, false attendance reporting and so on. As the product uses fingerprint as a form of ID, the attendance that is reported at the terminal can be accepted as genuine proof of attendance. Not just that, now CV Trio Hutama’s HR Department can focus their energy into other issues, as generating attendance reports are so simple to do with the all-in-one FingerTec software, the TCMS V2.

FingerTec Installed in Major Poultry Distributor

Introduced in the Egyptian market by the Americana Group in 1992, Koki has become Egypt’s fastest-growing poultry brand. In lieu of their rapid growth in the industry, the Koki brand has come in need of a better attendance system to help keep track of their staff’s movement.

Koki was previously using a biometric system in their office as well. However, due to the unreliability and the lack of support from their supplier, Koki decided to switch over to FingerTec as the brand seems promising enough. This is when Technology Line, a FingerTec distributor in Egypt, was contacted regarding the project.

All the departments in Koki were fitted with units of TA200 Plus, thus governing over 2000 employees in the company. The TA200 Plus was chosen due to its stability, capacity, its modern firmware with color LCD and its reputation in Egypt. As for the software, the company had its own professional team dedicated to developing a software for their previous system; so all they had to do was condition a customized software utility to link the previous system’s hardware and FingerTec hardware with his MS SQL 2005 DB.

After 3 months of using FingerTec, Koki commented that they were pleased to have made the right decision. Their job has been made easier, as now they are linking the FingerTec system to their salary and payroll system, easing the burden on their Human Resource Division.

“The features of the TA200 Plus may have helped us to sell the hardware concerned; but it’s our support and warranty system that drove the client to close the deal with us”, commented Mr. Hisham Saber, Managing Director of Technology Line, proving their true alliance with the FingerTec brand value.

FingerTec Builds Trust in Hotel Industry
While FingerTec is sprouting well in the main peninsular, East Malaysia steps up to show an equal amount of enthusiasm in the biometric industry. Recently, a hotel company in Sabah installed several units of FingerTec’s Face ID 2 after experiencing nothing but convenience, having had a FingerTec system already in place for the past 4 years.

The hotel in concern is the Tanjong Aru Hotel Sdn. Bhd. located in the capital of the state of Sabah, which is a subsidiary of Shangri-La group of hotels, a prestigious name associated with the local hotel industry. Tanjong Aru Hotel approached our reseller in Sabah, AMTC System Sdn. Bhd. to install several more units of FingerTec devices in their premises, as a replacement for some older units of a different brand which has been serving them poor backup and support. Three units of FingerTec’s Face ID 2 were installed in the HR department and of the hotel for time attendance and access control purposes.

The hotel had already installed several units of FingerTec TA102 at their back in 2007 to record and keep track of their staff’s attendance. As they were satisfied with the product and the brand, they decided to install a full FingerTec system to assist them in managing and monitoring their 660 employee headcount.

“FingerTec comes with a good after sales support system such as assistance in sales and marketing and prompt support for both end-users and resellers through various means such as live chat, phone in, and emailing which makes it easy for us to promote and sell the brand”, mentioned Mr. Desmond Wong, Managing Director of AMTC System Sdn. Bhd.

FingerTec Worldwide is proud of its reseller, and hopes that this installation would open up the trend for FingerTec in the tourism industry!

FingerTec Handles the Security of High-Rise Buildings!
Dubai is a well-known location for high rise architecture and condominiums, being the home to the current tallest skyscraper in the world. Now, FingerTec’s reseller in Dubai, Q-Line Security Systems LLC, has implemented their system in one of the high-rise residential buildings in UAE, called Idigo and HDS Towers.

These are 42-storey residential towers situated in Jumeirah lake Towers complex. The management of the Indigo and HDS towers wanted a system to limit the access of the parking facility and other amenities only to residents. Since the basement parking had a direct connection to the other three residential towers, they wanted a system that could also control any unauthorized usage of the building amenities by an outsider or a resident of another tower.

It was definitely a challenge implementing the parking and amenity control system such as this one, since this was not just a simple time attendance or access control matter. This had more complexities and rules to follow, since the parking was at the mezzanine, ground floor and basement whereas the other amenities were located at the top of the building. Hence linking these two platforms and allowing full control of the system from a sole security room was again technically a challenging job.

12 Kadex U units were proposed (and accepted) with an allowance of 2-3 RFID cards for each residential unit in the tower. The doors were redone to accommodate the drop bolt locks, and an alarm system was also attached to the central security room to alert the personnel during any unauthorized access or tampering of the system. Three Kadex units were installed at the parking levels, two units allocated for amenities and a single unit of the Kadex was also installed in the security room of each tower. After the successful implementation of the hardware and software monitoring and control system using the TCMS V2, the management exclaimed its satisfied with FingerTec’s performance and have also requested for such solutions to be repeated in few of their upcoming projects as well.

FingerTec Installed in Shopping Centre
Agung Sedayu group started from a simple shopping centre contractor company that was founded in 1979. During the first 10 years, Agung Sedayu worked hard to build the confidence of buyers and increase cooperation with leading partners in Indonesia. Since then, their long journey has paid off and Agung Sedayu has now become a strong icon, placing them as a leading company in the commercial developers industry in Indonesia. Their latest project is Central Park – a soon-to-be mega store in S-Parman, Jakarta.

Recently, they approached our reseller in Indonesia, PT Retailindo Technology to seek a time attendance and door access solution for their headquarters in Jakarta. The installation was proving to be a little tricky as it involved using electrical cables amounting to a total of 1500 metres in length. The distance between the terminals and the connecting computer was also rather far apart and required a conduit pipe to be installed in the ceiling which was long enough to follow the structure of the building itself.

Due to all the requirements needed for implementing the system in the building, the installation process itself took quite a while to complete. Fourteen units of FingerTec Kadex models were eventually installed around the building in the CCTV room, gas chamber, electric panel room, etc and connected to iron doors which used an Electromagnetic (EM) Lock of 1200 lbs complete with back up batteries, emergency break glass units and exit buttons. The units were set to display the Indonesian language, to ease the integration of this very novel system to the staff working at the building.

With an access system such as FingerTec’s Kadex, the security officers of Agung Sedayu now need not carry a huge bunch of keys as all they have to do is carry one card along with them everywhere they go. Now, the management is able to keep track of shift workers who are on duty and monitor the access given to authorized and unauthorized areas. It has also eased all the human resource processes of generating attendance reports, monitor tardiness and so on. With all these new automated processes, Agung Sedayu can now focus their time and effort in areas other than security and administration.

FingerTec Installed in Law Firm!
FingerTec is now protecting lawyers with its recent installation in Andrew-David Wong & Ong Advocates and Solicitors.

Approaching our local reseller, Sinaran Computers and Communications Sdn. Bhd. in the state of Pahang, the law firm was looking to replace their current punch card time attendance system with an access control system that allows them to monitor and keep track of their staff’s attendance, monitor staff’s overtime hours, restrict access to unauthorized employyees after work hours, and limit the access of the office to outsiders which provides some security to the firm.

After being presented with a variety of options, the firm chose the popular FingerTec R2 & R2i for their office after an initial examination, FingerTec proved to be convenient, user-friendly, and easy to maintain. Also with its extensive software, the TCMS V2, access control and time attendance reports can be customized in more detailed, giving the firm full control over their own system and their 42 employee headcount.

With their brand new system in place, Andrew-David Wong & Ong Advocates and Solicitors seem to be satisfied with the quality of after-sales support that they receive from our end-user website and also from our local reseller. Initially they faced a tiny hiccup when their staff couldn’t verify their fingerprints at the terminal because their fingers were oily or wet, but after a short memo on that was issued, the firm now faces no problems at all, and is able to conduct their human resources processes smoothly.

FingerTec Explores the Fast Food Industry with KFC Installation, south Africa.
To most of you, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) needs no introduction. Founded by the famous Colonel Harland Sanders in 1952, KFC’s fast food franchise expanded in no time, and gained international popularity shortly after with their secret recipe fried chicken.

Now, FingerTec will be sharing part of that fame as our South Africa partner has secured an installation in some of the KFC branches in South Africa. Telkare, one of Fingertec South Africa’s resellers, worked hard in tendering and securing this project, by liaising and working closely with FingerTec for recommendations and advice on our terminals.

The management of KFC in the Western Cape wanted a better way to record and control their staff's time and attendance as they were having problems with processing overtime and putting a stop to buddy-clocking. From their output, we listed down their requirements, and consequently suggested that they use one of FingerTec best-selling time attendance models, FingerTec TA100C for their outlets.

The TA100C has some outstanding features e.g. high capacity of fingerprint storage and transaction logs (12,000 templates & 200,000 logs), simple connectivity with various options such as TCP/IP and USB flashdisk, and workcodes. Best of all, the terminal has a high quality 3.0” 65k colour TFT screen that gives a touch of professionalism within its installation grounds.

To win over their confidence with our products, we supplied a list of several satisfied prestigious customers which are currently using FingerTec products, including names like DHL and Murray & Roberts. Following this, 15 branches of KFC in the Western Cape were installed with the TA100C, and the management was trained on how to use, manage, and maintain the system. In a follow-up meeting, The 15 KFC branches seemed to be satisfied with their new system, and it’s no wonder - we provided KFC with a solution that would not only do away with buddy clocking completely but would also give management complete control over their workforce monitoring.

FingerTec USA Keeping to the Code, USA
At FingerTec, we stress on giving the best service we have and make customer support our utmost priority. Our FingerTec branch in USA, delivers no less.

From the moment the end-user receives their biometric terminal in the mail to the installation process, FingerTec USA provides ample support that is needed for its clients, such as the Remote Support function featured on our website. Having a software complication? Simply give the representative the ID and password and he / she will be able to see what is going on and help you every step of the way.

Most FingerTec’s items are packaged as a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) product, but still, we understand that setting up a time attendance system can be tricky. Therefore we try to make this process as smooth and easy as possible. Our support technicians frequently engage on over-the-phone support for the setting up of TCMS V2 as well as for step by step guides on how to enroll fingerprints into the system.

Recently, we implemented FingerTec systems in a broadly known food processing company called Alle Processing. Their company is in the industry of processing, selling and distribution of beef, poultry and veal. Due to their factory-like environment, Alle Processing approached us to suggest a system for their work environment. Today, Alle Processing actively uses FingerTec i-Kiosk 100 Plus to monitor time attendance and FingerTec H2i to organize and manage the access of all their 400 workers. The included software, TCMS V2 helps them organize the shift schedules of their employees, while giving only supervisors sole access to their own departments.

So far almost all our customers loved our products. Our business here in the United States has grown tremendously and we take great pride in this. More importantly we take pride in what our consumers have to say, and so far we are delighted that many of them express satisfaction with our products.

”I have downloaded and evaluated more than 6 clocking systems – found FingerTec to be one of the least expensive yet one of the most functional. The hardware is great, the software - fantastic (love the Excel interface), and customer and technical support far exceed expectations. Absolutely gets my Top Rating for Time Management,” quoted another one of our clients, Frank of Cross Creek Country Club (Fort Myers, Florida).

The FingerTec Word Spreads Among UAE Schools, UAE
The word about FingerTec’s time attendance system is spreading like wildfire here, among the education industry. It started with the Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) school in Dubai installing a couple of FingerTec TA200 Plus readers to keep track of their staff’s attendance. Within a short span of 2 months, more than 10 schools have approached us, Al Mumayaz Supplies, wishing to adapt the same FingerTec system in their institution. The schools using FingerTec’s system are:

Al Qassimia School Al Reyadah School
Al Salama School Bin Al Shark School
Ahmed Bin Rashid School Majid Al Awwal School
Al Watan School Al Rawabi School
Umm Al Shuweida School
Ras Al Khaima School
Al Mamoura School

Even more good news is that the number might increase to 20 - 25 schools in the coming few months as and when the marketing efforts taken by Al Mumayaz starts Fingertec and Magnum Connect as their technology partners, reaches all the other related schools.

Thirty units of FingerTec TA200 Plus was installed in all the above mentioned schools in the region of Ras Al Khaimah in UAE. Some of the mentioned schools are using these units to monitor the flow of student batches in Computer Lab and Libraries while the other schools deployed the FingerTec units to monitor and manage their staff attendance as well as for general administration purposes. With the TCMS V2 software, these schools are also able to generate and store long term records and attendance reports generated from the TA200 Plus terminals.

Why choose FingerTec? The local presence of a FingerTec reseller in RAK and the availability of a local distributor equipped with a support team was the differentiating factor in all these schools that selected the FingerTec TA200 Plus. There was a rather tight competition indeed from other local vendors and Eastern companies, but when looking at long terms prospects of all the schools following the trend, FingerTec emerged victorious. The key was not only in the support team of the local distributor, but also in how the product presents itself as DIY as biometrics can possibly get. With a website dedicated to FingerTec’s end users and features such as manual downloads and warranty claim all a few clicks away, it is not hard to see why our client’s preference leans over to FingerTec.

FingerTec Installed in Terengganu’s State Municipality, Malaysia
Our reseller in the northern state of Terengganu in Malaysia has secured an installation in the Terengganu State Economic Development Corporation, or known in Malay as Perbadanan Memajukan Iktisad Negeri Terengganu (PMINT).

The PMINT is a governmental body founded on 1st April 1965 with the aim of becoming the primary agency carrying out and speeding up socio-economical advancements in the state of Terengganu. The PMINT has engaged in activities that cover a very wide spectrum in almost all sectors of the economy. These include property development, plantations, agro-biotech, aquaculture, and manufacturing.

Approaching our reseller Dynasty IT Services Sdn Bhd in Terengganu, PMINT required a time attendance and access control system to montior their staff closely as well as to implement some restrictions in access of the Management Office, HR and Admin Dept, Technical, Development, Corporate, Finance and Commercial departments of their office located in the State’s capital, Kuala Terengganu.

“The client chose FingerTec for various reasons: the fact that its an established brand, it comes with a user-friendly and extensive software (TCMS V2), and it has a smart and sleek design,” commented Mohd Masdi Musa, General Manager of Dynasty IT Services Sdn. Bhd.

Twelve units of the best-selling FingerTec R2 and R2i, a complete in-out access control and time attendance solution was installed in the PMINT headquarters to monitor 300 of their headcount. Warka Bank Endorses FingerTec as Their Official Time Attendance System, Iraq.
Warka Bank for Investment and Finance is one of the largest financial institutions in Iraq with a network of 130 branches and 350 ATM's located all over Iraq with strong and growing banking services. The bank was established in 1999 and now it is considered by the central bank of Iraq and the other financial organizations as the first private bank in Iraq.

Monitoring attendance in Warka Bank is not an easy job because of the culture of courtesy deployed in Iraq, which makes it difficult to control the presence and departure of staff, which then leads to a decrease in productivity and a high wage-ratio being paid to employees enrolled in name only. It was this issue that encouraged Warka Bank to seek for alternative solutions. After some brief survey of the market, the bank decided to come to us, Larsa Scientific, reseller of FingerTec solutions to implement a new system for them.

We at Larsa Scientific then suggested that we install the best-selling time attendance fingerprint device, FingerTec TA100 at all of Warka Bank’s 130 branches around the country. The data of from each terminal will then be monitored using FingerTec’s software, the TCMS V2, which allows us to pull data from up to 999 terminals installed in several branches. The client accepted our proposal, and as a result, 150 units of FingerTec TA100 were installed over a period of two years within the premises of the private bank.

As a result, the setup of the system increased the productivity and efficiency of the institution. The presence and departure of staff have also been reported more accurately, enabling the linking of the data with human resources and payroll system, which contributed to the reduction of the operating budget of the bank. The system has also provided them with much ease when managing their huge human capital. Features in the FingerTec TCMS V2 software also allows them to centralize the data in their headquarters for further office automation, making branch monitoring simple. All in all, this large installation in one of Iraq’s most notable private institutions proves to be a benchmark for Larsa Scientific, clearly displaying our extensive knowledge in the industry.

Euro Jordan Installs FingerTec in Fitness Center, Jordan.
FingerTec in Jordan has now successfully secured an installation in a well-known company in the fitness and social industry – Fitness One. As FingerTec’s reseller in Jordan, we at Euro Jordan Trading Company gladly assisted them in the setting up and implementation of their new time-attendance system.

Fitness One is a well known gymnasium for those looking to get into shape, and start a healthy lifestyle. This gym has many branches in Jordan, some for ladies only, some for men only and now an upcoming huge one to accommodate both genders, to satisfy all their customer’s needs. They offer many services to their patrons such as personal training, fitness test, nutrition, vibration training, spa and wireless internet.

Prior to this installation, Fitness One chose a fingerprint system from a competitor in the market and as a result, began to face many problems with that system. This system of theirs proved unreliable and troublesome, which moved them to the decision of changing the whole time attendance system. They had basically given up on a fingerprint system, and were looking for an alternative in the market.

At first, we suggested and tried to recommend FingerTec’s reliable fingerprint system for them. But it was hard to convince the customer to change from their current time attendance system that uses fingerprint system to another time attendance that also uses fingerprint system, as they had not only faced trouble with the fingerprint device itself, but had trouble with software and configuration of their previous device as well.

Hence, we offered them FingerTec Timeline 100 for the main branch in mecca street which they can verify using proximity cards to verify their attendance.

However, as the business relationship developed, we managed to talk them into using FingerTec TA102 fingerprint time attendance terminal in other locations by offering them the solution with a full money-back guarantee for up to one month.

After making one installation for them to try out, the deal was on! FingerTec TA102 was then installed in the remaining 3 locations, proving that Euro Jordan has excellent persuasive skills. To sum it up, with this successful installation along with our success in securing installations in all Jordan McDonalds outlets, we hope our list of satisfied clientele can act as a reference source for the FingerTec brand to grow and soar in this country.

Jack of All Trades: FingerTec for Hotel Management, Malayisa.
Looking for a device to assist your hotel management? Now FingerTec has proven that it is fit for the job with the latest installation in Euro Hotel Group of Companies.

Euro Hotel Group of Companies owns and manages all the Euro Hotels in the major cities, and several other hotels around Malaysia as well. Euro Hotel is specifically designed to cater to the discerning budget conscious travellers, without compromising on the quality of the services and facilities to ensure the customer gets a relaxing and memorable experience. Managing hotel staff can be a bit of a messy ordeal as to maintain the availability of hotel’s services, there has to be round the clock shift workers on duty to serve guests.

The clocking in and clocking out of these staff can be confusing and also inaccurate due to human errors, as well as intentional errors such as buddy punching.

The group then approached Newvision Systems & Resources, our local reseller for a solution. Understanding the clients needs, Newvision recommended FingerTec’s TA100 model due to its popularity, and also because of the extensive functions available in the bundled software, the TCMS V2.

“Lately, FingerTec has really emerged as an international brand of biometric products, with high quality & reliability. Bundled with the powerful TCMS software, its stylish design and continuous support and updates, FingerTec offers a complete solution at a competitive price,” commented Newvision Managing Director, Mr. Gan Lai Huat.

Newvision then proceeded to install the TA100 models in all seven hotels owned by the Euro Hotel Group. The units are installed in the lobby, to provide accessibility to all of the 30-40 staff present in each branch, and the management couldn’t be happier with the verdict. Now human resources and payroll processes of their shift and non-shift workers can be completed in a breeze from just one location, by utilizing the TCMS V2’s branch monitoring features!

FingerTec Playing a Part in Immigration Services in the UK.
Recently in the UK, FingerTec did not only help manage the attendance of students in a local college, but also played a role in assisting the UK Border Agency in their immigration check!

As FingerTec’s partner in UK, CSD Global managed to secure an installation requested by the London Community College of Education, or commonly referred to as the LCCE. LCCE is a private college in London, specializing in providing quality Accredited Education in a number of areas including Accounting, Business Management, Information Technology and so on. They are working towards meeting a vision of providing world class pre and post graduate education in partnership with top Universities.

With the latest review of student visas by the UK Border Agency just around the corner, the LCCE required a system that would provide an accurate time and attendance system that would satisfy the UK Border Agency and the need to prevent illegal migrant working. Recently, the problem of colleges opening in the UK just to provide illegal immigration routes has become quite common. Therefore, the LCCE is keen to have the UK Border Agency’s approval to show the best practice.

The solution was clear to CSD Global: the simple-to-operate FingerTec TA100C. Wall mounted and linked to the LCCE network using the powerful TCMS Time & Attendance Software, the TA100C can provide live in and out transactions, enabling the college to provide accurate time and attendance information, such as absence and tardiness. This would allow both the authorities and families of the students to be kept informed of the student’s whereabouts, keeping all parties happy.

Advansys Technology Makes a Positive Advancement in Electronics Factory, Malaysia.
The challenge? To replace the current card swiping system with a fool proof one that allows the management to track and monitor staff attendance using the least effort possible in Pan International Electronics – a prestigious electronics manufacturer in the northern state of Penang responsible for the producing electronic parts for companies such as Sony, Phillips, and many more.

The company approached our reseller Advansys Technology Sdn Bhd for a solution to replace their current system, a barcode reader system, after realizing that the issue of buddy-punching (where one person punches the attendance card of another person) was getting out of hand. Advansys hence proposed that they install FingerTec’s bestselling time attendance system, the TA100 Series.

With several of the units now installed around the company along with a maintenance contract of 2 years, Pan international can now assure that the attendance of the employees are being recorded as they should be, by using the irreplaceable and unique fingerprint instead of using punch cards. As a production factory, it is important to Pan International to be able find a method of monitoring attendance closely, while still keeping the smooth flow of the work processes – and the TCMS V2 does just that.

It provides the ease of tracking attendance and processing payroll remotely while keeping the accuracy of the raw attendance data itself.

The Central Post Office of Iraq Gives A Stamp of Approval for FingerTec Products! , Iraq.
With the persistence of FingerTec’s distributor in Iraq, now FingerTec terminals are accepted in governmental bodies such as the Central Post Office of Iraq. Our distributor in the country, Ain Al-Zulal Co. “All our clients are satisfied with FingerTec products and they have started viewing FingerTec as an extraordinary brand that works to their advantage,” commented Eng Sinan, Managing Director of Ain Al-Zulal Co. Ltd.

In Iraq, many determining factors play a role in encouraging our clients to install FingerTec such as the sleek design of the devices, the user-friendliness , their storage capacity, and the fact that the language can be set to Arabic. Also, because FingerTec Worldwide provides an endless amount of support to Ain Al-Zulal from our headquarters, they are able to offer the same to their clients, giving the Central Post Office of Iraq a one-year service contract for all kinds of maintenance and repairs.

Exportech Portugal Integrates FingerTec into VASP Group, Portugal.
FingerTec in Portugal, as represented by us at Exportech Portugal, proved its competency by performing an important installation within The VASP Group of companies.

VASP is a major magazine, journals and publications distributor for the Portuguese market for almost 36 years. They have been operating their services from as early as 1975, and are responsible for the distribution of most of the existing publications in Portugal.

The company approached us to carry out 2 different projects for them. The first one was straightforward enough, an installation of 10 access control terminals to control every existing main door for each department, making it possible to monitor attendance and control the access hours for each employee. The second project required more experience and integration skill, which Exportech Portugal is more than equipped to handle, aided by our years of experience.

The VASP group employs drivers who have daily assignments to deliver packages to a variety of locations. We installed 12 FingerTec TA102 time attendance terminals for the client, to monitor the 400 drivers working in the company. However, this system does more than monitor their drivers. When a driver checks in at the terminal, the terminal captures their attendance and informs them about the packages that they need to deliver, along with an indication of which route they should take to deliver them. This process is automated using their third party software. Everyday, packages will be sorted with an identification number that is associated with a certain route. Following this, all the driver has to do is view this identification number to know what his/her task is. If they finish the task early, they will return and clock in their attendance again, to receive another task.

With the integration of FingerTec in their system, VASP can now save a lot of time and money by fully automating this process, and also by knowing precisely the time it takes for each driver to complete a route making possible to improve their planning and Human Resources.

FingerTec Comes to the Rescue in Malaysian Developer Company, Malaysia.
Recently, our reseller in Malaysia, Bumi Engineering & Consultancy Sdn Bhd, managed to seal the deal for an installation with Pembinaan BLT (PBLT) involving 7 sets of R2 and R2i. PBLT is an established developer, mainly dealing with the government of Malaysia to develop quarters and facilities for the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) throughout Malaysia.

Prior to this, PBLT was using a regular card system, different to FingerTec’s. The card system, was reliable and working fine; however, there were a few buddy punching cases occuring, where one employee would punch their colleagues card, allowing the colleague to come in late or leave early. Also, the weakness of a punch card system was that frequently, with the hustle and bustle of the morning rush, some staff would forget to bring their access cards, therefore having to rely on colleagues to go in and out of their workplace.

With FingerTec’s R2 & R2i, the buddy punching and forgetfulness problems vanish, leaving more accurate records in the system. The 166 users in PBLT now do not have to particularly remember to bring their access cards, as all they need is their fingerprint. Furthermore, Bumi Engineering has given the management of PBLT sufficient training to work the software and hardware system, as well as a 2-year maintenance contract, covering all types of support services. With all these extras, who wouldn’t be satisfied?

FingerTec Hits Fast Food Franchise in Jordan.
If you happen to walk into a McDonald's outlet in Jordan, you will now notice that you are not only greeted by their friendly staff, but also by our FingerTec TA102 device!

McDonald's in Jordan was looking for a more systematic and modern way of getting the working hours report of their staff. As they had both part time and full time workers in their vicinity, they needed a system that can collect and compute clock in and clock out times of these two groups of workers. After a brief research of time attendance systems, McDonald's then selected FingerTec’s system as the most suitable system for their environment.

FingerTec’s reseller in the country, Euro Jordan Trading Co. worked with the McDonald's franchise to implement the time attendance system in their fast food outlet. They started off with installing FingerTec TA102 in 3 branches first, and are currently continuing their installations till they reach their targeted 20 branches. FingerTec Goes to Law School!, Dominican Republic.
If you happen to be studying in the National School of Judiciary in the Dominican Republic, then the fact that access to the school is controlled by FingerTec devices will come as no surprise to you. From October 2010 onwards, all students and staff of the school have to verify their fingerprint at one of the 18 units of FingerTec R2 installed in the school by one of our partners, E. Threan & Cia.

The National School of Judiciary is a school attached to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Dominican Republic, established by the Judicial Career Law of August 11, 1998. They are committed to contributing toward excellence in the justice system and for this they have implemented a set of programs designed to meet all training needs of the members of the Judiciary.

The main purpose of the biometric system installation was to control the in and out movement of people and students in the school. They have also installed the FingerTec R2 at the entrances to the class rooms so that the management can keep track of attendance and the courses being taken by a student. In the Administration building, you will also find that the access control devices are installed there, but only staff are granted access to the area, and not students.

E. Thrian & Cia has been a valued FingerTec dealer since the year 2006 and has conducted some large installations around major organizations (such as IKEA) around the country since.
